W. B. Veazey Home

W.B. Veazey home, 1516 Avenue O, was built by Dr. J.R. Martin. Dr. W.B. Veazey was a charter officer of the Benevolent and Order of Elks, Huntsville Lodge, Past President of the Rotary Club of Huntsville 1938-1939, and a member of the Tri-County Medical Association, which was established in 1940. The Veazey home is a Victorian-era house whose form and design typify Queen Anne-style architecture. The entryway, wraparound porch with Doric columns, and overall integrity of the building are its outstanding features.
